Gunday’s Screenplay

As far as screenplay is concern, the screenplay of the movie is simply resolute even though in some scenes flow of story to be losing its pace. The dialogues of the movie is convincingly realistic and powerful. The dialogue writer Sanjay Masoom did an exceptional job.

Gunday’s Direction

Now coming to the direction, Ali Abbas Zafar come up with a something attractive story idea as compare to Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Ali Abbas Zafar did not tried to unnecessarily  difficulties creates with the idea but even that does not emerge as a plus for the plot, which is too simple to leave any exciting impact on the viewers.
As far as other technical features, the action director Sham Kaushal’s direction is a plus point of movies. He is exceptional with his work.

Gunday’s Music

Music Director of the movie Sohail Sen is good with his catchy tunes like Jashn-e-Ishqa, Tune Maari Entriyaan and attention-grabbing Saiyaan. He made Irshad Kamil’s Lyrics beautiful.

Gunday’s Performances

Without a doubt all actors / actresses of the movie proved their skills and acting talent but Gunday is all about Arjun and Ranveer's show. Ranveeer and Arjun keeps you mesmerized with their onscreen presence. Priyanka Chopra got full chance to show off her acting ability and she has once again proved her acting skills with diversity.

Doing good work is a habit of Irrfan Khan, he is superb as ACP Satyajit as usual, and how can forget Saurabh Shukla who in spite of having a small role but he easily do well in that role.

Wrapped Up

Wrapping up the discussion, there is nothing in story of Gunday, but it's the awesome performances of the actors which keep viewers engaged. Story is old and now boring too, if the movie is watchable because of the performances of actors and music.
