businessman’s daughter by some grumpy, rural criminals. Mahabir Bhaati (Randeep
Hooda) is the leader of the criminal’s gang. As soon as the story is moving

Screenplay
As far as screenplay of the movie is
concerned, Imtiaz Ali proves himself as a cine genius. He is one of the writers
of his own kind. Due to its unique and unusual story, Highway falls in the
group of unusual movies.
Highway’s
Direction
The direction of the Highway is a simple cine
excellence. Imtiaz Ali raised standard bars with his performance with pen and
behind the camera. He set up a good amount of human emotions as well as
highlighted the social evil of child abuse. Behind the camera he is done
commendable job.
As far as cinematography of the movie is
concerned, Anil Mehta captures the beauty of Southern India with excellence and
cine ability. He done great job with camera.
Highway’s
Music
Oscar-winning AR Rahman does not need any
introduction, his work is his introduction. He has done a good job with some
good tracks like Pataka Guddi, Heera etc.
Highway’s
Performances
Coming up to the acting, Alia Bhatt is
looking much improved and confident as compare then her first movie Student of
the Year. She is new in acting profession so she needs time to improve her
acting skills. Randeep Hooda is not a newcomer, this character suits her
persona and he done fully justice with it. He looks good in his character. As
far as supporting cast like Durgesh Kumar & Saharsh Kumar Shukla is
concern, they all doing good work and capture the attention of audience
in-spite of they have small roles.
Wrapped
Up
It is Imtiaz Ali’s ability and excellence
which always make his work a talked about matter. But this time his movie may
not do well on Box Office and not emerging as big Box Office grosser.
Wrapping up the discussion, regardless having
superlative execution of gripping romance, Highway is not a big Grosser on Box
Office but it is still a fine and must watchable movie.
