from the pink rebellion of Sampat Pal, set in the rural area of India and
throws lights on women issues.
Story idea of Gulaab Gang display the
war between a rural activist Rajjo (Madhuri Dixit) and a corrupt politician
Soumitra (Juhi Chawla). Rajjo (Madhuri Dixit) fights against some social evils
like domestic violence, dowry, rape and above all education of girls. As the
movie roll ahead, the war situation between these two divas are nastier. So
what go after next, watch the Gulaab Gang’s action packed social drama.
In the past, Bollywood produces lots of
women oriented movies like Mother India, Mrityudand, Chandni Bar, Godmother or Kahaani. Every movie throws

Gulaab
Gang’s Screenplay
Soumik Sen writes a good innovative and
new story. The storyline and scripting of Gulaab Gang is exceptional good.

Gulaab
Gang’s Direction
Without doubt Soumik Sen tried to pull
out something novel from his cine intelligence. But on the whole this entire
cine tale can't be quoted as something out of the box. Soumik Sen done a good
job with pen and behind the camera.
Gulaab
Gang’s Music
Music of 'Gulaab Gang' is okay product
weaved in the movie is something unnecessary, and that's because it not only reduces
the impact of onscreen actions, but also fails in leaving any impact on the
viewers too.
Gulaab
Gang’s Performances
Performances of Madhuri Dixit and Juhi
Chawla are great. From the time when screen opens it’s Madhuri who occupy the
screen and keeps the audience attention fixated to her. Conversely Juhi tries
her level best, but somewhere down the line she fails in flaunting that cynicism
which needs to be done while performing such roles. Rest of the supporting cast
comprising of Divya Jagdale, Priyanka Bose and Tannishtha are simply good.
Wrapped
Up
Wrapping up the discussion, due to its
bold storyline, Gulaab Gang surely leaves an impact on the audiences and up
till great level accomplish something in convincing them, but due to week
screenplay it fails in leaving the impact which it could have.
